Domenick DeMatteo
Originally from Long Island, New York, Dom grew up about as far away from the mountains as one could. He has been a lifelong endurance athlete, competing in both running and cycling. He studied biology and chemistry at Duke University with a focus on human physiology. After graduation, he moved to the West Coast to pursue a career as an exercise physiologist and coach. He soon found mountain sports as the perfect canvas for his endurance pursuits. Through guiding, Dom hopes to share his love for all things alpine, and use his experience as an endurance athlete/coach to help others achieve their goals both on the mountain, and off it.
