Emanuel began climbing at the age of 14, and quickly developed his passion into a career guiding professionally, both with Alpine Ascents and local guide companies. Early in his career, Emanuel founded a mountain club in his home city. This served as the launching pad for a career that would progress to a to becoming certified with the Argentine Association of Mountain Guides (AAGM) in mountain guiding, a prestigious and technical achievement. With a wealth of experience spanning from Patagonia to northern Argentina, as well as ventures into Bolivia and Chile, Emanuel has devoted 12 seasons to guiding on Aconcagua, achieving over 20 summits on the highest peak of the Americas. He is known for his expertise navigating challenging direct routes through the Polish Glacier, along with ascents to neighboring mountains like Peak Cuerno and Peak Ameghino. When not guiding, he continues to develop as a climber, spending multiple seasons climbing in Patagonia, working in diverse ski resorts, and other disciplines showcasing versatility in his endeavors. In the off season Emanuel actively participates in other disciplines such as paragliding and ski touring. He also enjoys carpentry, farming, and sharing his love of the mountains with his daughter.
