Guide: Mount Rainier

Micah guides for Alpine Ascents on Mt. Rainier and will be returning to Alaska for the 6th summer in a row to guide on Denali. Originally from the New England area, Micah spent most of his time climbing on the multitude of rock and ice littering the East Coast. Since then, Micah has guided mountaineering expeditions in Haines, Alaska as well as several high altitude mountaineering expeditions in Ecuador. He is a passionate alpine climber with a particular interest in instructing technical climbing skills. He has climbed extensively in SE Alaska and the lower 48, as well as British Colombia and Mexico. Micah currently lives in Salt Lake City at the foot of the Wasatch Range, where he spends his winters guiding ice climbing and playing with his Alaskan Malamute, Ixta.
