The ALU 320 + PFA is a stable, extendible 320cm long aluminum probe with Ortovox's quick-assembly system.
The quick-assembly strap makes immediate opening and assembly possible in one motion. In order to determine burial depth and select an optimized shoveling strategy the probe has highly legible depth markers and the bottom most segment, in neon orange, provides visual notification of the proximity of the buried person during shoveling. Also featuring an interchangeable, large probe tip, and rubberized, ergonomic grip.
