July 1 9-Day Course – Baker summit success!

100% success this morning on our summit attempt of Mount Baker via the Squak Glacier. We endured strong winds and blowing snow to stand on top.

Everyone is enjoying a well-deserved rest in Crag View camp this afternoon. Next up: Mount Rainier!

We beat the weather and climbed to the crater Tuesday afternoon. It was a fight through wind and rime to the top but everyone made it. A bag of Dick’s burgees was enjoyed along the way–good times!
