Mount Adams Testimonials

Overall amazing experience from the communication prior to the climb to the final good bye in the parking lot. Our guide’s ability to pass on knowledge was excellent – I learned how to use my ice axe and climb in crampons. I had done neither of these things in the past. I felt confident to do the climb.

2020 Climber

The trip on Mt. Adams was memorable and a great adventure. Our guide’s dedication to safety was paramount. She was clear and knew exactly how to demonstrate what we needed to know for snow school as well as how to assist with making camp, including melting snow for a group water supply. I would very much enjoy climbing with her again!

Camp had amazing views! The views were the highlight of the trip.

2020 Climber

At appropriate intervals both our guides shared information of their past feats, the importance of rest step/breathing, the use of axes and crampons. Always felt I knew what to expect and to move forward.

Yes – I enjoyed it very much!  The two days were filled with good instruction, focus on safety, and great support. Both our guides kept the team on task and were very clear on directions and importance of safety.

What an incredible trip!  I did things I’ve only seen others do. Our guide was so knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging and fun! Thanks Alpine Ascents for giving us this top-rate guide to make our Adams Glacier experience A+
