Overall amazing experience from the communication prior to the climb to the final good bye in the parking lot. Our guide’s ability to pass on knowledge was excellent – I learned how to use my ice axe and climb in crampons. I had done neither of these things in the past. I felt confident to do the climb.
The trip on Mt. Adams was memorable and a great adventure. Our guide’s dedication to safety was paramount. She was clear and knew exactly how to demonstrate what we needed to know for snow school as well as how to assist with making camp, including melting snow for a group water supply. I would very much enjoy climbing with her again!
Camp had amazing views! The views were the highlight of the trip.
At appropriate intervals both our guides shared information of their past feats, the importance of rest step/breathing, the use of axes and crampons. Always felt I knew what to expect and to move forward.
