“Fantastic! It was everything I had hoped for and more! I wanted to thank you and Alpine Ascents for a wonderful trip to Everest Base Camp! I wish I were back in the Khumbu! The itinerary was perfect! It allowed plenty of time to acclimate and I felt stronger as we got to higher altitude. Also, the folks you had on the ground in Nepal were fantastic!” “Amazing, Professionally run, the ground staff you employed, Sherpas etc. made for a well-organized trip.”

“Most remarkable trip of my life; – expertly guided by extremely knowledgeable people. There aren’t enough superlatives in the English language to describe the experience.”

Why the Everest Base Camp Trek is Fantastic:
Private treks to the Everest Base Camp have the same guide staff, logistics and commitment to excellence as our scheduled climbs.
Unlike other companies operating in Nepal , we have the unique quality of being a high end travel company that specializes in mountaineering expeditions. We bring our many years of experience as one of the best climbing companies in the world to create your private journey.

Selecting your dates or itinerary:

  • You and your group can pick the desired start date.
  • We also can customize any of our scheduled day-by-day itineraries or create a complete custom itinerary.

Pricing and what in included on the trips:
We offer guiding, logistics, equipment, food and dining of the highest quality that our trips are renowned for worldwide.

Pricing is normally based on the number of people and the options desired for the trip. For smaller groups pricing can be similar and sometimes less expensive than regular expedition prices listed on the website. For larger groups, the price may be similar to our posted prices but the private option is an excellent way to ensure you are receiving a level of attention that is determined by your particular needs.

Each climb may be led by one of our Sherpa Guides. Some of our outstanding local guides have been leads with us for over 20 years and the name and bio will be shared with you, as opposed to some operators who simply hire a guide upon your arrival in Africa.

lalitSample Lead Guide:
Name: Lalit Bahadur Magar
Lalit has been guiding for nearly 20 years and well understands the deep connections between the trekker and local community. He has completed numerous guide trainings as well as completing courses at the Khumbu Climbing School. He has led over 70 treks in the Khumbu region (Everest region) as well as other areas, including high profile film projects.

Amazing, Professionally run, the ground staff you employed, Sherpas etc, made for a well organized trip. We were especially lucky to have Vern and Carol as our guides, as they knew the local people and monks in the monasteries, was a fantastic experience. I honestly don’t think they could of made it any better, absolutely faultless.
