Kula Cloth®

Kula Cloth®

Kula Cloth

$20.00

The Kula Cloth® was designed for anybody who squats when they pee and is the first of its kind - an intentionally (and obsessively) designed reusable antimicrobial pee cloth!

In a mountain setting, it's very important to have good hygiene. Traditionally, either excess amounts of toilet paper are packed in and/or the 'shaking off' method (aka 'drip dry') is employed. Neither of these are good options. A pee cloth is a ‘leave no trace’ toilet paper option for peeing, that keeps you comfortable, while having a positive impact on the environment. Simply pee, and use your Kula to pat dry. Here's a great video that the Leave No Trace center produced about peeing in the outdoors, that features a Kula Cloth®.
  • super absorbent (absorbs 10x its weight in water!) and soft
  • advanced silver-infused, antimicrobial fabric
  • eco-friendly non-toxic materials (Bamboo Viscose, Cotton, Organic Cotton, Polyester)
  • durable and waterproof 'clean' side so your hand doesn't get wet
  • easily snaps to backpack using plastic snaps
  • 'double snap' allows cloth to hang while folded in half (so it doesn't touch pack and/or get dirty on the trail)
  • easy to clean or rinse and quick to dry
  • retro-reflective thread detail for locating it at night with your headlamp
  • size is approx 6 x 6 inches.
  • weight per cloth is .5oz
  • proudly made in the USA

While the calendar technically says June, the Cascades have recently been reminding climbers that winter is not quite ready to let go. Alpine Ascents guides reported significant new […]
