Shadow Goggles

Julbo

Price range: $244.95 through $249.95

With a wide field of vision and a spherical lens, the Shadow has all the features of a premium goggle in a medium- to small-sized package for climbers and skiers with smaller faces. The frameless design and spherical lens guarantee a perfect fit under helmets.

The goggles REACTIV photochromic lenses get darker or lighter to match changing light conditions and their visual clarity, lightness and strength make them effective when you are in the mountains in both poor and clear conditions.
  • The REACTIV 0-4 High Contrast lens has a VLT of 83% down to 5%. This lens has a red base color to help enhance details and is ideal if you have light sensitivity on bright days, are out mostly at night or fair-weather days, are out West/at altitude, or prefer a darker all-condition lens.
  • The REACTIV 2-4 Polarized lens offers a VLT rate of 40% down to 7%. The lens provides protection against the sun and reduces glare off bright and reflective surfaces (snow) which eases eye strain, therefore increasing visual comfort, contrast and clarity on the mountain.
Other key features:-
  • Air Flow : Venting incorporated into the frame for good air circulation to prevent formation of fogging.
  • Anti-fog Coating : The inner surface of the lens has an additional anti-fog coating.
  • Double Adjustment Strap : Two loops either side of the strap for symmetrical adjustment in the blink of an eye.
  • Dual Density Foam : Two layers of foam for optimum comfort and shock absorption with a soft-touch layer for softer contact with skin.
  • Frameless Construction: Slim frame that provides a wide field of vision for a high, unobstructed viewing experience.
  • Full Silicone Strap : Strap lined with a silicone strip for perfect grip.
  • Invisible Strap Insertion : The strap is inserted directly into the frame support for a minimalist design.
  • Overstrap: Offset strap for compatibility with all types of helmets

Alpine Ascents guides reported significant new […]
