We had 4 climbers summit this morning.

We are currently back at the Cosmiques hut enjoying lunch and about to take a nap. Tomorrow we will head back down to Chamonix and have a final group celebration dinner.

Mont Blanc #2 At the Trient hut

Hello from Switzerland.

Today we climbed up and over the Le Tour Glacier and safely summited Petite Fourche along the way.

We made it to the Trient Hut just in time for a great lunch at the hut. Some of us got salads, sandwiches while others got a traditional Swiss Rosti meal. Yummy!!!

Tomorrow we hope to climb Aig d Tour on our way back to Chamonix. Everybody is doing well and acclimating good.

Thanks.

Mont Blanc #2: Team Name decided

Bonjour from the Albert 1er hut at 2700m.

We just finished a good dinner of chicken wings with a curry sauce along with soup and cake for dessert. Today we had a fun day learning and reviewing skills on the Le Tour glacier.

Tomorrow we are heading over the board to Switzerland climbing some of our acclimating peaks reaching over 3400m along the way and integrating more technical climbing skills.

We came up with a team name today. Our name is Kopi Luwak vrs Starbucks. To understand I would recommend using Google and searching our new name.

Thanks for following and we will be in touch shortly.

Mont Blanc #1 summit climb

Hello and greetings from Chamonix, France.

We just got back down to town after our summit attempt. Unfortunently, we did not summit on this trip. On July 6th we made it to 4400m and turned around due to high winds and poor visibility. We tried again on July 7th but the winds continue to stay increadibly high for us to reach the summit.

All of our climbers had a great time on there recent adventure to the alps and plan to return in the future.

Tonight we will be having a group dinner and saying farewell after making new friends.

Mont Blanc #1 underway

Hello and greetings from Chamonix, France.

Today started the first day of the Alps season. We had a good dinner last night as a team and got to know each other. This morning we did a gear check and grabbed some last minute items in town before heading up into the mountains

We hiked up to the Albert 1er hut at 2712m above the Le Tour glacier. We had amazing weather and great views of the whole Mont Blanc Massif. This afternoon we went out onto the glacier and learned some technical skills.

Getting ready to sit down and enjoy a nice meal at the hut. Then off to bed as tomorrow we will have an early start as we make our way up some acclamation peaks and over to the Trient hut in Switzerland.
