Aaron Schoening
Aaron is an AMGA Certified Ski Guide based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he spends winters skiing and climbing in the Wasatch. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Aaron graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. His passion for guiding began while working at the university’s Outdoor Recreation Program, where he led trips for fellow students.
Throughout the year, Aaron guides skiing and climbing trips to places including the North Cascades, Alaska Range, and Mount Rainier National Park. Whether he’s climbing the West Buttress of Denali or showing skiers some of Utah’s best powder stashes, Aaron loves sharing his passion for the mountains with others. When he is not in the mountains, Aaron enjoys biking, live music, and spending time with friends.
