Hello Everyone,

After returning to Basecamp after our acclimatization rotation we have been resting for a couple days.  Today we are going through the oxygen system and getting gear organized to head back up the mountain.  The team is doing well and healthy.  On our acclimatization rotation we ended up cutting it short by one night because of a lot of snow.  We spent one night at Camp 2 though before returning to Basecamp.  Tomorrow we are planning to head up to Camp 1, then Camp 2, Camp 3, and finally Camp 4 before heading out for the summit.  The current plan (which could change) is to summit on the 25th and then descend back to Basecamp on the 26th.  The weather forecast is looking good and it is finally clearing up here at Basecamp.

Hello Everyone,

Today after lunch we are heading up to Camp 1.  We will spend 2-3 nights there before heading up to Camp 2 for 2 nights while touching camp 3 before returning to Basecamp.  The team is feeling good and ready to head up the mountain.

Hello Everyone,

The team is doing great trekking below Manaslu.  Yesterday we went on a hike up a beautiful canyon to reach a very old small monastery.  We had beautiful weather and the team reached a new high point of 13,300ft.  Today we are heading up to Samdo for the night at 12,700ft and will return tomorrow to Samagaun after another morning acclimatization hike.  The day after tomorrow we will head to Basecamp!  Everyone is doing well and excited for the rest of the trek and getting to Basecamp.

Hello Everyone,

Last night we had our Welcome dinner for our 2025 Manaslu climbers.  The team is packed and ready to head to Samagaun this morning by helicopters if the weather cooperates.  I will continue to update as I can.
