Carstensz Expedition preparing to fly to Base Camp!

Hello Everyone,

This is Team Bintang (star) reporting in from Timika, West Papua.  After some great sleep last night we had a bit of a rest day today, but went over our harness setup that we will be using for the climb.  We also changed hotels after lunch which was actually nice to see another nice hotel and continue the travel!  We got our bags weighed and sent them off in preparation for Heli flights early tomorrow morning to Basecamp.  If the weather is good, we will have 3 flights into Basecamp in the morning and will rest a bit and get prepared for the climb.  The team is excited and doing great here!  Hopefully the next post will be from Basecamp tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for following along,

Ben
