Carstensz Pyramid October 9th, 2025 begins

Hello Everyone,

The entire team have arrived to Bali and we are set to begin our travels to West Papua tonight! Once in Timika we will wait for good weather to fly by Helicopter to Basecamp. It looks like the weather has not been good in Basecamp so there is a bit of a back log of climbers waiting to get to Basecamp so we may have a couple extra days in Timika. It’s all part of an expedition like this though and we look forward to getting to Basecamp when the time is right. The team is excited and looking forward to the adventure. I’ll keep reporting in here on our progress.

Thanks for following along,

Ben Jones
