Everest Base Camp Team reaches Dingboche 14,200 feet

Posted on March 24, 2026 | Cybercasts

Namaste everyone,

Today around 1 pm we reached the village of Dingboche at 14,200 feet above sea level. We enjoyed some dramatic views of Ama Dablam, Kantega and the massive South wall of Nuptse/Lhotse with Everest peaking up behind from the North.  We had a light snowfall overnight which made the setting lovely today. The team is all doing excellent!

Yesterday in the afternoon we were able to visit the Tengboche monastery during a Puja ceremony, where the monks were chanting different Buddhist mantras.  Tengboche is one of the most famous and important Buddhist monasteries in the world. We are 2 nights in Dingboche, tomorrow will be an acclimation hike and rest day after.
Thanks for following along!
