Hashbrown 2 eggs returns to Kathmandu

Posted on October 29, 2025 | Cybercasts

Namaste everyone,

Yesterday morning we opted to helicopter out from Namche Bazaar to beat the major incoming weather system.
Thanks to our amazing Nepali partners we were back in Kathmandu by 10am!
The Everest region is expected to receive several feet of snow above 4000m in the next 3 days and we are very happy to be back in the comfortable environs of our hotel.
On the descent from Pheriche we managed to jump off the main trail for a night in Phortse at the home and lodge of Panaru Sherpa and family. Many of the team were able to visit the Khumbu Climbing Center (KCC), before we then rejoined the main trail for our last night in Namche Bazaar.
Tonight we will wrap up in Kathmandu with a celebration dinner with our Sherpa and Magar staff from the trek.
Thanks for following along with our adventures!
