Kili Team Makes their Summit Attempt!

Hello Everyone,

Today we hiked to our high camp with very nice weather. The team made great time and stayed strong all the way to our camp at 15,800ft.  After moving into our tents we had lunch/dinner, talked about the details for the summit and then went back to our tents to organize and try and sleep.  We had quite a bit of rest before waking up at 10:45pm to eat and prepare to leave for the summit at 12 midnight.  It’s a little bit windy but an otherwise clear and beautiful night.  We are just setting out now for the summit!  I will let you know once we have arrived to our camp later this afternoon.  The team is looking strong and ready to get to the roof of Africa!
