Life at Basecamp

Hello Everyone,

We’ve had a couple relaxing days here in Basecamp so far.  Yesterday I got a few things shored up with our electrical system, made a calendar, and took portraits of our Nepali team.  After lunch we visited the HRA (Himalayan Rescue Association) for a quick tour, which is where Everest ER is.  We also got the cornhole championship court set up and tested it out.  The Sherpas might enjoy cornhole more than our climbers.

The weather forecast is looking fantastic for the next week and today after breakfast we will get our climbing rigs setup on our harnesses and do a little review around camp.

It’s been a great start to the Everest season so far.
