Nifty Fifty Team arrives at Moir Camp

The nifty fifty team moved from Shira 1 to Moir camp today, gaining 2,000ft and ending at just over 13,500ft.  We had perfect hiking weather with some clouds, and a little wind making it cooler. We saw little traffic on the trail today as the trails divide leading to a couple different camp options. Moir camp, where we are at, is one of my favorites, with less people and at the base of the mountain surrounded by a main partial cirque of peaks, ridges and cliffs.  We will be having dinner shortly after some afternoon rest and will get a good sleep before moving onto the Machame trail tomorrow leading to Barranco camp (another favorite).  The team is doing excellent with the altitude and enjoying the spectacular views of the mountain and valley below.  Thanks for following along,
