One Dream Acclimatizes at Guanacos

Posted on January 14, 2025 | Cybercasts

One dream woke up to a few inches of snow over our dome and the ground. We coordinated with our porters and moved efficiently to camp2. The entire team kept close cohesion representing the team nature of this expedition. Everyone was required to walk to the standard. A standard amount of time needed to not spend all day in the elements. Everyone had to carry a minimum day pack, everyone sleeps in the same domes, we all wore similar clothes at certain occasions.

Everyone being individualist as is US culture it was often difficult but necessary of such a long and endurance based expeditions.

The idea isn’t to wash someone of their snow flake nature but make them a functioning part of a team that ideally is stronger together whether they understand it or accept it or not.

We got to our new home at Guanacos and the team devoured gallons of soup and they tore into home baked bread like beasts.

The clouds closed in and snow blanketed our small world as the sun retreated again.
