One Dream moves to Camp 1!

One Team One Dream made the heavy move up to Campo 1. As we climbed the blue sky turned to overcast and snow sleet and graupel fell on our freshly donned rain jackets. By the time we got back to the final push to camp there was 4 cm of fresh snow in boot prints of the party above us. We skidded into camp and took shelter in our blessed domes. We had to count our blessings- on one hand we were damp and crowded in, but on the other hand we didn’t have to set up tents as 15cm of snow fell on us. The team camped into the dinning tent in the days final light and we ate homemade hamburgers!!!!

The team retired to bed and fell asleep quickly like mountaineers or a pile of wet dogs depending on the light and perspective.
