Speed Ascent Team reaches Base Camp!

Hi all,

Greetings from Everest Base Camp!  Our team made the trek today from Lobuche up to Everest Base Camp reaching 5,350m!   We had a spectacular day with no clouds and endless views.

Along the way up to EBC our climbing Sherpa team hiked down and meet up with us.  They brought our team a wonderful treat of hot juice and biscuits that made our climb up all the more enjoyable.

Upon arriving at the Alpine Ascents Base Camp we had an amazing lunch before we took some much needed rest.   Dinner of course was phenomenal and we got treated with a welcome cake.
