Team Friends on a Summit Day Waits for a Weather Window in Nido

We took a second rest day in Nido de Cóndores today while we wait for a better summit weather window. We took a hike above camp to take in the views made extra special by the 7 inches of snow that fell just yesterday afternoon. If you look closely at the second photo, you’ll see all of the tents at Nido de Cóndores dotted amid the new snow.

We are currently planning to move up to our next and last high camp tomorrow.
