Team “Last Second” Makes their First Cache

Posted on June 4, 2025 | Cybercasts

Team last second pushed a cache up to the top of ski hill. The clagg closed in around us. It was easy to get up and dig a 6 foot deep cache hole with the wind and snow to our backs. We headed down into the weather and many of our Last Seconders had frost in beards and hair like wights of a fantastical order. The team got back into camp and scarfed down piles of fried rice and chicken. Their appetites not satiated the guides produced a pot of chicken soup and hard tack and soon that was gone too.

Things are going well. Tomorrow we will rest to wait out the storm. Despite the winds and snow blowing late into the night one could be hear conversing and laughter from our many tents.
