The Frozen Chosen says their Goodbyes
Hi friends,
Yesterday the team packed up and waited for our flight home. Unfortunately, after several delays the flight was eventually cancelled due to poor visibility at Union Glacier.
Today, we woke up to a cold and windy camp, but the skies had cleared. The 757 left Punta Arenas, Chile late this morning and will be landing on the Blue Ice Runway before long. The food at Union Glacier has been great and the team has been making new friends from all around the world. It has been an outstanding experience, but the Frozen Chosen are all ready to start the long journey home.
