The storm breaks!

Posted on November 1, 2026 | Cybercasts

Namaste!
After 4 extra rest days waiting out a snow storm, for a total of 6 days in Dingboche, the skies finally cleared and the views returned! The team kept busy with movies, cards, walks, and the occasional glass of wine. Our hotel was truly a nice refuge from the storm!

As nice as it was, everyone was very excited to head out today and hike our way 2000ft higher up to the remote village of Lobuche. It was warm and clear and a perfect day for moving higher! With the backup from the storm things are quite crowded at our new abode, but everyone is excited to finally reach our main destination tomorrow: Everest Basecamp!

Thanks for following along, we will keep updating.
