Liv Holbrook
Liv was born in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Hamilton College in Upstate New York with a major in Studio Art and a minor in Geology. Her thesis in art focused on the effects of climate change in alpine environments. She started rock climbing and mountaineering in high school and has had the privilege of climbing and exploring in Alaska, Montana, Canada, Washington, and Iceland. Liv started her guiding career in 2020 on the Matanuska Glacier in Glacier View, Alaska. When not guiding Washington’s peaks, she is based in Bozeman Montana. Aside from climbing, Liv is currently focused on metalsmithing and working with enamel. She maintains a Wilderness First Responder Certification, a Leave No Trace Trainer Certification, AIARE Level 1 and is an Alpine Apprentice Guide.
