Mount Everest Testimonials

I have to say, though I knew it even before joining this expedition, AAI is the best company with the most perfect logistics and greatest guides on the mountain, bar none.
Eric, Lakpa Rita and Ben were the key reason Dave and I decided to go to Everest. I’d not have gone with guides I didn’t know.

Ben is a fantastic leader, continuously encouraging positively the team and individuals as well as providing tough love in the few cases when it was needed. He was a true example of spectacular leadership. I’d climb anywhere with him.

Eric was awesome as always and I was really glad to be climbing with him again. Lakpa Rita of course was the most efficient and resourceful person at EBC. Jangbu whom I didn’t know before is such a patient and fun person. I have really enjoyed climbing with him and look forward to have a chance to do so again.

The logistics both at base camp and higher up was perfect and executed flawlessly, unlike many other teams we saw on the mountain who had concerning situations. It is reassuring to know that everything is planned executed with upmost professionalism by AAI. I couldn’t see any reason why would someone put their lives in the hands of organization who are nowhere near as professional as AAI.

Spectacular Expedition. Having been on many climbs with Alpine Ascents I knew what to expect but was blown away by how smoothly the trip went, the level of execution and he quality of the staff. Truly a top notch operation.

Ben, Eric and Jangbu are nothing short of awesome. Our team size was manageable as we watch other well-known teams with larger groups or multiple teams not always able to accommodate their teams in the way Alpine Ascents did.

Alpine Ascents Base Camp Set up was impressive none of the other teams looked nearly as nice as our and could not imagine having better food day in and day out. – 2018 climber

When I compare this against most other teams I knew, this is amazing and reflects the attitude with which your guides lead. Thanks again for a once in a lifetime trip and look forward to the next adventure together (not sure what that is yet).

Your team were amazing (as usual) and it was a superb and successful trip. Our team had no injuries (got on really well as a team). When I compare this against most other teams I knew, this is amazing and reflects the attitude with which your guides lead. Thanks again for a once in a lifetime trip and look forward to the next adventure together

Thank you and AAI for giving me the chance to participate in such an amazing and life changing experience. Ben and his team made possible for us to summit Everest while feeling safe and enjoying the adventure and special thanks to Jangbu and Karma Sherpa, I wouldn’t have been able to push myself to summit Lhotse without their incredible support.

We started as a team, climbed as a team and summited as a team. It sounds so simple, but to keep that focus on Mt Everest requires years of experience and the support to make it possible. From all that I saw it was clear that Alpine Ascents did everything that was necessary to get us to the summit.

2017 Climber

Just wanted to let you know that I had a fabulous time on Everest and the trip could not have been better.  The guides were all amazing climbers, teachers, and friends.  I felt positive about the climb from beginning to end, and I thank you and everyone at Alpine Ascents for being a part of that.  I also thank you for putting together such a competent and skilled team of guides and Sherpa, that helped me get to the top. Each day and each step was important, and I will take the memories with me forever.  Many thanks and all the best.

I want to thank you for an adventure of a lifetime. As always the staff and logistics of Alpine Ascents exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be more satisfied. A while back you mentioned win-win relationships. My win was a rewarding trip to Mt. Everest. AAI’s win (and mine too) is my decision to climb Mt. Elbrus and Carstensz Pyramid to complete the seven summits and trek to Machu Picchu and probably Everest base camp with my wife. As if that wasn’t enough, Joe has sold us on a yak tour in Alaska with another couple. Thanks again for everything.

The trip was superbly organized from start to finish, with superior facilities and support throughout. The climbing strategy, based on the guiding team’s extensive knowledge of the mountain, resulted in a highly successful and safe summit bid.

Could I take this opportunity to thank all at Alpine Ascents for a great Everest climb. Dave and Vern were fantastic throughout, I doubt there’s a better guiding duo and company on the planet. I shall certainly be climbing with Alpine Ascents for the foreseable future. When I heard Dave was guiding on Carstenz, my interest increased 10 fold, will let you know, thanks again for providing a first class expedition .
