Summit Sleighers Sleeps at 18,600 ft!

Team Summit Sleighers Moves to Cólera

The entire team moved to Cólera today. We are spending the night at our highest upper mountain camp at 19,600 ft. The team is doing well. We’ve had a couple of inches of snow fall each afternoon over the last couple of days and the mountain is glowing in a fresh coat of snow!

Tomorrow we will attempt the summit of Aconcagua.

Saludos!

10 Sentinel Seekers Visit Plaza Francia

The 10 Sentinel Seekers are now comfortably settled at Confluencia Camp. Today we visited the viewpoint of the majestic south face of Aconcagua, reaching 13,500 feet. After returning, we focused on resting and hydrating before our scheduled medical check at 5 PM. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm reception prepared by the staff. Many team members agree that eating everything they provide is more challenging than the trekking itself!

We successfully passed the medical check, so tomorrow we’ll continue our ascent toward the Plaza de Mulas base camp.

Christmas didn’t go unnoticed. After dinner, we played a game where everyone received their gift.

Things couldn’t be going better.

Warm regards,

Diego

The program was outstanding. Flawless logistics (from airport pickup through entire climb), great office support, world class guides (best on mountain without questions), proven itinerary. Everything was top shelf.
