Our entire Illimani team of four climbers summited Illimani (21,125 ft) today! We enjoyed excellent weather, mild temperatures, and expansive views.
The Blockade Runners Hike to Illimani High Camp
The team is camped at 18,000 ft tonight and we are ready to attempt the summit of Illimani tomorrow!
The Blockade Runners in Illimani Base Camp
We drove out to the Illimani Base Camp today and are ready for the hike to high camp tomorrow. The forecast for our climb of Illimani looks clear and calm for the next few days.

The Blockade Runners Summit Huayna Potosi!
We summited 19,974 ft Huayna Potosi on a beautiful morning in perfect conditions! The team is feeling well acclimated and strong. We will take a rest day in La Paz and then part of our group will continue on the trip extension to climb Illimani.

The Blockade Runners Hike to Huayna Potosi High Camp
We made the three hour hike to the Huayna Potosi High Camp (17,200 ft) and are now in position to attempt the summit tomorrow morning!
Excellent. My guides made the trip very enjoyable. I’d climb with any of them again. The trip rocked! What a great time.
