Team summit Briethorn

Hello from the Gandegghut at 3100m!

We just had a great day today as some of our climbers completed the Briethorn traverse. This traverse has a mix of technical rock climbing along with some steep snow and ice.

After completing the traverse we descend the Klien Matterhorn lift and walked a short distance to the Gandegghut.

Greetings from the Val D’Ayas hut at 3420m in the Italian side of the Zermatt valley. We had a great day today climbing Polux which is just over 4000m.

We then descend down to the hut and just finished a good meal.

All our climbers are doing well and having a good time. Here are a couple pictures from today

Matterhorn #1: Starts today!

Hello and greetings from Zermatt, Switzerland!

Today was first day of our Matterhorn trip. We went up a series of cable cars and gondolas to reach the Fluhaple climbing area. We had amazing views of the Matterhorn today as we worked on rock climbing and movement skills.

This afternoon we went over some more gear in-depth as we prepare to head into the mountains for the next couple days to do some acclimating and more skills before making a summit attempt on the Matterhorn.

We have a great group of climbers from all over the world joining us this week here in Zermatt and we are looking forward to the next week together.

Here is a picture from our climbing area today looking over at the Matterhorn.

This morning our climbers departed Chamonix heading back to there home. One of our climbers will be joining us for another week on the Matterhorn.

Here are a couple more pictures from our recent summit on the Mont Blanc.

Thanks for following our cyber cast and we will be in touch with our next program.

Mont Blanc Summit!

Today we departed the Cosmiques hut at 2am and headed up the Mont Blanc. Climbing the Trois Mont Route requires us to climb up Mont Blanc Tacul and Mont Blanc Moduit before reaching the final head wall to gain the Mont Blanc.

We reached the summit around 9am this morning under clear skies and light wind.

We had 4 climbers summit this morning.

We are currently back at the Cosmiques hut enjoying lunch and about to take a nap. Tomorrow we will head back down to Chamonix and have a final group celebration dinner.

Thanks for following our cyber cast

This is a note to let you know what my experience was in Zermatt and with Johnathon and Hans. I would like to say that I have done climbing numerous peaks over the last 25 years. I have used guides a number of times and have never experienced the quality of the guides Johnathon, Hans, and Cece.
