Brooke Auvil

Guide: Washington, Alaska

Brooke was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Growing up, she spent much of her time exploring Washington’s outdoors through trail running and skiing, then transitioned to more technical outdoor activities, including rock climbing and mountaineering, during college. She attended the University of Washington, where she pursued a degree in neuroscience and public health. She followed her love for the outdoors by working as a ski patroller at Crystal Mountain and guiding in the summers.

Before joining Alpine Ascents, Brooke guided many other teams to the summit of Rainier. She also has a strong foundation of personal climbing experience, ranging from glaciated peaks to multi-pitch rock climbing in Washington and Canada. When she is not in the mountains, she enjoys playing soccer, photography, and going to concerts.
