G-Summit

La Sportiva

$929.00

The G-Summit is a hybrid boot from La Sportiva that can operate as an extremely warm single boot for classic mountaineering or as a lightweight, precise double boot, for extended expeditions in colder climates, due to its unique removable liner and thermal insole. Additional key features include:
  • Inner shell made with the patented Core-Wrap™ technology maximizes warmth while remaining ultralight.
  • The BOA® Fit System makes it quick to adjust the lacing fastener and is designed to be opened and closed while wearing gloves in cold conditions.
  • Vibram® Dura Step compound offers the best grip for mountaineering excelling in low temps and wet terrain.
  • The Ice-Tech™ tread is divided into two sections enhancing performance during ascents and hiking.
  • Resoleable, to reduce environmental impacts.
In our opinion, this boot will be great for mid-altitude peaks like Baker, Rainier, Chimborazo, or Mont Blanc. But we recommend the G2 Evo or Phantom 6000 HD as a better selection for bigger mountains like Denali or Aconcagua. As always, when making your boot choice please contact us so that we can work through the best option with you.
