Back in Namche

Hello everyone!

We hiked from Pangboche to Namche today and are doing very well! Yesterday we met up with Joe in Pangboche after everyone on the trekking team flew out of Lukla back to Kathmandu yesterday. They all went out to a celebratory dinner with Jiban in Kathmandu last night and have mostly all flown out of Kathmandu at this point. Thanks to everyone for making this a fun trip!

Daniel, Julie, Mingma, and I are heading toward Lukla in the next couple of days. Tomorrow we will head to Phakding and the following day to Lukla. If the weather cooperates, they will fly back to Kathmandu and I am heading back to basecamp to climb.

We’ve been playing lots of card games, eating a lot, and have been having lots of laughs now that we are much lower in elevation. I’ll post a few more pictures from Island peak and from trekking. Hopefully you are thinking of joining us on this adventure this fall!
