Team Cherries on Top wraps up their fantastic adventure with a couple of days touring Moscow and specializing in eating before heading home

Hey there, this is Vern Tejas reporting in for Cherries on Top.

It has been a whirlwind tour for the last couple of days. We have departed the valley below the highest mountain in all of Europe and we have now flown back to Moscow. We’ve shut down a couple places in Moscow, we stayed until the sun came up in Moscow, and have had a real good time. (transmission garbled) … and we’re now eating again, which is one of our specialties.

Know that we are thinking of you and coming home soon. So please don’t tune in for any more of these cybercasts, because this is last one. We’re on our way home. So thank you for following us. We are thinking of you at this very moment.

Ta ta for now!

Team Cherries made it to the top of Elbrus!

Hello there friends, family, and loved ones, this is Cherries on Top reporting that the Cherries were on top of Europe! Yes today finally the weather got to be at least on our side and we were able to go up through deep snow to the very top of the mountain.

We’ve been out for (“13 hours” asked in background) okay 13 hours out and we’re just sitting down and eating a hot lunch. Everybody’s happy but tired, so we’re going to take a nap and then come back and eat some dinner.

So stay tuned for the further adventures of Cherries on Top!

Team Cherries on Top heads to bed for a few hours in good spirits, hoping the snow will clear for their summit attempt

Hello there friends, family, and loved ones, this is Cherries on Top reporting in from our High Camp on Elbrus.

We had a great day of tying knots, and resting, and packing for our summit push, that’s supposed to happen tonight. It’s now snowing heavily, but we’re going to give it a shot anyway, see how that works out.

Everybody’s in good spirits and looking forward to tonight’s effort. And we’re thinking of you, so pray for some good weather. And we’ll see you there, ta ta for now.
