Los Condores Climbs to Camp 1

Today we had an amazing adventure. We reached Camp 1 at 4900 meters or 16076 feet. It was a little bit hard because it was very windy. We carried our expedition meals and fuel.

After that, we enjoyed a delicious reception/dinner (it was soup, a sandwich of bondiola with vegetables, and pizza). Yummy!!

Rest Day for Los Condores

Today was a good day! We enjoyed our rest day walking around the camp and wearing double boots to practice for wearing them higher on the mountain. It was very fun day spent preparing for tomorrows carry.

Team Los Cóndores arrives at Basecamp

The team has arrived at Base Camp! It was a gorgeous day, we had a river to cross, we saw guanacos along the way, such an adventure!!

Everyone feels good and they are very happy to be settling in to Plaza Argentina.

Today we arrived at Casa de Piedra, our second camp. Everyone reached the camp in excellent condition. It was a nice day and a gentle trek. The weather was amazing, and we just ate pasta with tomato sauce and meat. Ciao!

Team Los Condores at Pampa de Leñas

The team arrived at Pampa de Leñas, our first camp in the mountains.

We reached 2800 meters or 9187 feet. Everybody is good; it was a beautiful day and a nice trek.
