Mexico Volcanoes Team prepares to climb La Malinche

The first Volcanoes of Mexico team is off on their expedition. The team is acclimatizing well and feeling strong! Please note that the call disconnects.

Volcanoes of Mexico comes to a close

The Volcanoes of Mexico team had a successful summit of Sierra Negra, the 5th highest peak in Mexico! Due to icy conditions and wind on Jamapa Glacier, the group was unable to summit their final objective, El Pico de Orizaba. Spirits are high as the team heads back to Mexico City to connect with friends and family back home. Thanks for following along on our expedition to Mexico’s highest peaks!

Simply, our guide is obviously an excellent mountaineer and leader.
