Private Climbs

Private 10 Day Rainier Baker Mountaineering Course

Private climbs are offered in the Cascades on such climbs at Mt. Baker or North Cascades training courses but not on Rainier except for winter programs and one day training sessions.

Private guides for groups, individualized training and specific peaks can be arranged by calling our office. Private training provides a wonderful opportunity for personalized programs from beginning to advanced levels and the chance to develop skills at your own pace. We run numerous private trips each season; most commonly:

  • 4-6 day Training Courses in North Cascades
  • Winter Training Courses (these can often be done on Rainier but generally no summit attempt)
  • Summit climbs of Mt. Baker, Shuksan, Eldorado, Glacier Peak and other classics of the Cascades
  • Rock Climbing Courses
  • Courses in the Alaska Range

For more information about Private Climb Itineraries contact Our Director of Programs, Gordon Janow with your climbing ideas.

Overall I had one of the best experiences in my life during this trip. The program was great – from the first 6 days on Mt. Baker to summiting Rainier via Kautz and getting back home safe. The guides carefully selected our camping and training spots so that we were all by ourselves on the mountain without other groups and being distracted.
