Carstensz Pyramid Expedition Itinerary

(Dates/Prices/Itinerary subject to change)

Please be reminded that scheduling changes and permitting including the cancellation of trips can happen at any moment. We may opt to fly in/out of different villages based current conditions. Trip Cancellation Insurance is required.

This was an excellent adventure to a seriously remote part of the world. Coordination with local services was paramount.

Day 1

Arrive Bali – Hotel – Expedition briefing and gear check.

Day 2

EARLY flight to Timika – Hotel – Rest – Packing and final check – Technical meeting.

Day 3

Flight to Carstensz Base Camp (Yellow Valley) – Arrive Yellow Valley.  Acclimitization.

Day 4

Potential Summit Day – or acclimatization at Base Camp

Day 5

Summit Day

Day 6

Flight out from Carstensz – Timika – Arrive Timika – Connect to Bali or overnight in Timika

Day 7

Reserve Day

Day 8

Reserve day.

Day 9

Reserve day.

Day 10

Flight to Bali – Hotel – Open day in Bali.

Day 11

Depart Bali.
