Custom Gear Lists
Gear lists will vary depending on the trip. After arranging your private climb, Alpine Ascents will provide a gear list specific to your trip. You may view some of our standard Gear Lists as examples below; most private trips will be similar to those listed.

Meals & Camp Cooking
Those electing to purchase a breakfast/dinner meal package do not need to bring a stove, cookware, or fuel. Those electing to cook their own breakfasts/dinners on the mountain must bring a stove, any necessary cookware, and fuel sufficient for the duration of the trip. Call the Gear Department if you have any questions about this.
Pack Size & Group Gear
All climbers will assist in carrying tents and climbing equipment (such as ropes or pickets) to camp. When deciding on a pack size, keep this gear in mind, and consider test-packing before traveling to Washington. Call the Gear Department for advice on how much group gear by volume or weight you will help carry to camp.

The expedition was great. Very well organized. Very good acclimatization schedule. I would highly recommend this climb to anyone wanting to gain experience and take the next step to climbing over 6000 meters.
