Hello family and friends!
All team members made it to the summit of Cayambe (18,993ft / 5,789m) in beautiful weather! Snow conditions were perfect too. It took them 7 hours to reach the summit of the third highest mountain in Ecuador and 3 hours to return to the hut. The enjoyed fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and the Amazon rain forest.
They are currently resting and recovering at beautiful and cozy Colonial Hacienda Pinsaqui.
They are doing well and feeling very optimistic about their upcoming climbs on Antisana and Chimborazo.
