Hello everyone,
We are checking in from the hotel Ayelen in the small town of Penitentes!
We arrived by bus this afternoon, it was a scenic drive and we stopped for a great lunch along the way. John and I dropped all of our duffels, gear, and food off with the mule drivers to be transported to our first camp while our climbers got settled in at the hotel.
We’ve had some great meals, enjoying each other’s company while getting ready for our first day of trekking! We will check in tomorrow from our first camp at Confluencia!
