Hi everyone,
In preparation for our 1st rotation above base camp, we spent today resting, organizing gear, lunch snacks, ect.
Yesterday we did a loop halfway thru the icefall to camp 1.
Tomorrow morning we will depart for camp 1 around 5 AM, and plan to be back to base camp on April 30th, plus or minus one day. We will spend approximately 2 nights at camp 1 (19,500’/6000M) and 3 nights at camp 2 (21,700’/6650M).
Everyone is doing great and ready to move up!
We will post audio cybercasts while above base camp.
