2022 Everest and Lhotse expedition team underway!

Hello Everyone,

It is great to be back in Nepal and starting up our 2022 Everest/Lhotse Expedition! All members have arrived and we are excited to be flying tomorrow morning to Lukla. We have a slightly smaller but strong team this year but really looking forward to climbing with this team. I will be sharing photos here along the way the next two months and hopefully a few videos here and there. We have checked our gear, sent loads of gear weeks ago to Basecamp and our Sherpa have worked hard the last couple of weeks to setup our Basecamp a head of the climbers arrival. I will update our progress tomorrow as the weather can change for flights but we are hoping to make the flight to Lukla and then hike 3-4 hours to Phakding for the night. Our first night of the trek we will be sleeping at an altitude of around 8,500ft.

Thanks for following along,

Ben Jones
Expedition Leader
