Yo!
Found some LTE here on the way back to camp and figured I’d get a quick update out!
We hiked up to Boston Basin yesterday, setup camp, and worked on a few rope skills – roping up for glacier travel in 2-4 person teams, and mechanical advantage haul systems from 1:1 to 6:1. Then we enjoyed a killer sunset and some great sleep.
Today we climbed Sahale Peak in the AM and did real crevasse rescue in the PM. Everyone ran through it operating as a team of 2. Sawheet!!
That’s it for now, we’re headed back to camp for din din and to figure out a plan for tomorrow but I’d imagine it will involve snow, glaciers, and alpine rock ![]()
