Our 8/26 3-Day Muir climb made it to the top of the Disappointment Cleaver. The team decided to turn around due to the marginal condition of the route and concerns about ice fall. We are currently hard at work looking for an alternate, safer path to the summmit and have route workers headed up to Rainier this morning. Even thought the team didn’t make it to the summit, all had a great time and appreciated our emphasis on safety.
