Acclimatization hikes

Hello Everyone,

Today we did a couple hikes to help further our acclimatization. On our first hike after breakfast we gained about 2,000ft hiking to a very old monastery on the glacial moraine at Pungen. We had some glimpses of the high peaks around but it was mostly cloudy over the peaks. After lunch we hiked up to Borendra Taal, a glacial lake at the base of Manaslu’s lower slopes. It was a great day today and the team is doing excellent!

Tomorrow we will hike to Samdo just a couple hundred feet higher where we will spend the night and do some more hiking.

Thanks for following along!
