Hi everyone!
Today we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in our cabañas here at 10,000’ on the flanks of La Malinche. We went for an acclimatization hike up to 12,600’ to get a good view of the upper mountain, preview our route for tomorrow, and enjoy the beautiful forests of lower Malinche. Everyone in the crew did great and we are psyched for our Malinche summit day tomorrow! We spent the rest of the afternoon lounging in the sunshine and preparing ourselves for tomorrow. We met a bunch of sweet dogs today, laughed lots on the trail and became even more cohesive as a group in our first mountain endeavor. Thanks for following our journey!
