First check in from our December 28 Normal Route team, lead by Craig Van Hoy. They have titled themselves Team “Hop on the Bus.”
All is well here at Base Camp and our team did our first carry to Camp I (Camp Canada) today. Everyone is tired but in good spirits. We hope to occupy Camp I in two days and begin our push ever so slowly up this very big mountain.
We had a wonderful dinner last night and are looking forward to another great meal here.
