Aconcagua Vacas Valley Team 9: Team Ramrod

Hello followers,

We are all here in Mendoza! We completed our gear check today and had a delicious first meal together at La Lucia. We ate some delicious bife de chorizo (steaks) and enjoyed some savory gulpas de vino tinto (Malbec wine).

The lead guides this trip are Juan Ayara, Mike Coyle and Peter Ramos. Together we have over 50 summits of Aconcagua. We are accompanied by the John x2, Jason x2,  Alex, Niyta, Brady, Peter, and Stuart. That’s right we have a total of 9 climbers and three guides.

Everyone is getting along great, the weather is perfect and we are all excited for the next step towards the summit of Aconcagua.

Tomorrow we will get our permits, load the van with all our gear and start our drive towards Los Penitentes.

Please stay tuned for future updates about our journey to the highest summit in the Western Hemisphere.
